The MeTheNa commercial continuous garlic peeling machine is primarily based on the physical principles of "flexible friction" and "airflow separation," rather than sharp blade cutting.
Feeding: After being broken into cloves, the garlic cloves are evenly fed into the peeling machine's inlet via a vibrating feeder or elevator.
Pneumatic Peeling: The working chamber is typically a rotating rubber roller with a specially textured inner wall, or a fixed cavity containing a rotating rubber friction disc.
Flexible Friction: The garlic cloves are repeatedly tossed up and down within the roller, rolling and rubbing against each other and against the flexible rubber inner wall. This continuous, non-rigid friction gradually separates the garlic skin from the flesh.
Airflow Assistance: Simultaneously with friction, a powerful built-in fan generates airflow. Lighter pieces of garlic skin, loosened by friction, are blown up by the airflow and sucked away through specific channels (such as screen holes) into a waste collection bag/bin. Heavier, intact garlic cloves remain at the bottom of the peeling chamber.
Automatic Separation: The peeling chamber is equipped with a guide vane and a small fan. Garlic skins are drawn by the airflow to a collection bag or cyclone separator, while garlic cloves are continuously discharged along a stainless steel chute, achieving continuous "in-out" operation.
Circulation and Continuity: In continuous machines, the above "feed-friction-separation-discharge" process occurs simultaneously in different functional areas. Material flows through the machine like an assembly line, achieving uninterrupted continuous operation.
